We are a group of State Registered child care professionals located in and around Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are a community resource for parents and guardians who are seeking quality child care. We offer our members six trainings per calendar year that assist providers with maintaining their Department of Human Services required 12 training hours.
Our trainings are held in the months of January, April, July and October. Trainings are held at the Cedar Rapids Public library, 450 5th Ave. SE. 52401.
Trainings are 2 hours in length and start at 6:30pm and last until 8:30pm pm on the 2nd Monday during the months designated above. You must register for trainings via the DHS training portal for non members. Members can contact Becca English at Becca324.email@example.com to register for the training. |The Topics are based on the CDA content areas, which are important to child care professionals, and are approved by the Iowa Department of Human Services. Each participant recieves a certificate upon the completion of training.
